Ever wonder what it'd be like to have some incredible reflection effeccts that allow you to see the reflecting actors face in your RPG Maker project? How about some nice, smooth water effects? With this shader plugin, you can have just that! Check out the beautiful effects this can give you!

  • REQUIRES WebGL Support
  • REQUIRES Pixi.js > 4.0.0

Does not work on PIXI 4.0.0 or less, I'm unsure which PIXI version is the earliest that supports this but I can tell you now, 4.0.0 won't work.  You can upgrade your PIXI version here: https://fenixenginemv.gitlab.io/guides/pixi5-upgrade.html

This plugin was tested on PIXI 4.5.4 and is guaranteed to be working on that version, provided your system/renderer supports WebGL.

Hey just wanted to check if this plugin is compatible with MZ?

Most likely not without some kind of direct editing to the code~ in particular the shader's padding might be an issue since if I recall correctly, the changes made by PIXI when they introduced an updated version for some reason caused the UV coords for a few of my plugins to jank out

Sucks but thanks so much for taking the time to reply!

You're welcome~ Sorry I couldn't be much help

Does it work on pixi 5.3.0?

idr if I tested that or not, but it should, unless PIXI did something different again with the autoDensity thing

is this plug in compatible with 8 directional or analog/joystick type movement? if not then how hard would it be to implement it in business terms

It --should-- be, since all it really does is copy the sprite layers

But I can't say for sure tbh~ same with the difficulty of making it happen, it would depend on the 8 directional script and if the code is obfuscated or not

are you familiar with SAN_AnalogMove plug in? Thats what im using and i was just curious because im very interested in your work and im thinking about purchasing it the problem ive been having with other plug ins is due to the movement being pixel based the reflection would move onto spaces that shouldnt be reflective

We can go by the trust system, email me at TheUnproPro@gmail.com and I'll send over a link for the plugin~ If it works then you could pay~ if not then we know ^.^
The reason I want to do it this way is because projects generally have a -- buttload -- of other plugins that may interfere, so while it might work with SAN_AnalogMove it may not work with one of the YEP plugins

heres the thing im all about the trust system and trust me i know exactly what you mean with interference ive been struggling with making things work for SAN_AnalogMove  sometimes i gotta switch it to GALV_DiagonalMovement and i go back and forth  while running out of options for reflection plugs and i resorted to using a YEP plug, the YEP_SaveEventLocations  when i was trying to avoid this so i know you can relate to the struggle lol ill send an email your way before the day is over

This seems pretty cool. Are you planning on releasing a version for RPG Maker MZ upon its release?

Yep, I'm going to try and port over everything
